About the project
Project cost: 32,000 GEL
Completion date: November 2024
Futurium proudly presents the “House in Tsaghveri” project — a built-in kitchen created for a summer cottage, where closeness to nature became its defining character. We designed a warm, country-style space in which deep olive-green (RAL 6003) facades, natural wood texture and handcrafted details come together — exactly as the cosiness of a countryside home deserves.
Facades and materials:
The kitchen facades are made of raw MDF by the Austrian brand Egger, painted in colour code RAL 6003 at the paint shop of our partner company LTB. The facades were additionally finished with a smooth matte lacquer, which gives the colour greater depth and nobility and makes the space feel cosier. The carcasses use Austrian laminated DSP by Egger in a beige tone, with every edge sealed with moisture-resistant polyurethane glue — significantly extending the kitchen’s service life, which is especially valuable in the conditions of a summer house.
The peninsula:
One of the most striking elements of the project is the peninsula, which carries a dual function — storage compartments are arranged on the working side, while the opposite side offers a seating area. Its structure is designed to create a natural, assembled-from-wood effect. The worktop uses a laminated surface by the Italian brand Cleaf — a three-layer, especially durable and textured (relief) finish that conveys the genuine texture and warmth of real wood.
Surfaces and details:
Because of the kitchen’s geometry — accounting for two corners — the worktop was joined twice using the so-called euro-jointing method, which connects the surfaces tightly, seamlessly and beautifully. The space gains a special character from the open, decorative shelves, whose shapes were drawn and crafted individually — fitting perfectly with the forms of the facades and the glazed display cabinets.
Mechanisms:
The kitchen is fully equipped with mechanisms and accessories by the Austrian brand Blum — Blum drawer organisers, runners and soft-close hinges, ensuring everyday comfort and quiet, flawless operation.
The result:
The combination of materials, the shapes of the facades and the deep olive-green ultimately produced a distinct country style that perfectly matches the character and mood of a countryside cottage in Tsaghveri.
