When you order custom built-in furniture, it is natural to wonder how it is actually made and what happens between the order and the final installation. Below we walk through the Futurium process step by step, so you know what to expect.

1. Measurement — it all starts with exact dimensions

The process begins with precise on-site measurement. Our specialist measures the space, accounting for wall geometry, utilities and appliance placement. Accurate measurement is the foundation of quality furniture — a reliable project is built from here.

2. Design and 3D visualization

After measurement, our designer-constructor creates an individual project and a 3D visualization. You see your future furniture in advance — the layout, colors, fronts and hardware — and we agree any changes before installation.

3. Materials and mechanisms — quality from the core

We work with world brands: Austrian EGGER for carcasses; Italian CLEAF and painted MDF for fronts; Austrian Blum for mechanisms. These materials and mechanisms are supplied by our strategic partner — LTB, which offers the highest-quality products on the Georgian market. Quality materials are the precondition for durable, reliable furniture.

4. Precision cutting, edge-banding and assembly

Following the approved project, the parts are precisely cut and edge-banded on high-tech equipment. Our team then assembles the prepared components in our own assembly workshop — fitting the hardware, checking quality and pre-assembling so everything fits flawlessly on site.

5. On-site installation

The final stage is installation in your space. Our fitting crew assembles and installs the furniture on site, connects built-in appliances and hands over a clean space. One team leads the whole process — from measurement to installation.

6. Warranty

The completed work carries an official 2–5 year warranty — the duration depends on the materials and mechanisms used. Built-in appliances are covered by the manufacturer warranty.

How much does custom furniture cost?

The price is calculated individually and depends on the furniture size, the front material, the hardware and any built-in appliances. See indicative prices in the catalog; an exact quote is prepared after measurement.

How long does it take?

Typically 6–8 weeks from measurement to installation; a complex project takes 8–10 weeks.

What furniture do we make?

Beyond kitchens, we create any built-in furniture to individual designs: wardrobes and furniture for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, bathrooms and children rooms. See our work in the gallery, or get in touch to start a project.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is custom furniture made?
At Futurium the process runs step by step: precise on-site measurement, an individual design and 3D visualization, then cutting, edge-banding and assembly of components, and finally on-site installation.
What are the stages of built-in furniture production?
Five main stages: 1) on-site measurement, 2) design and 3D visualization, 3) selecting materials and mechanisms, 4) precise cutting, edge-banding and assembly, 5) on-site installation and appliance integration.
